T119: Using the New PTSI LMS Features to Create an Active Learning Environment

This course has been updated to include support for the new computer-mediated learning format incorporating information included in the “Demystifying CML” training. It is an overview of the ProTech Skills Institute (PTSI) Learning Management System (LMS) and how to use its features in your instructional delivery.

The emphasis of the course is to relay what to expect from the LMS, an explanation of the various instructional delivery approaches supported, how to use new LMS features and services, and how to create the necessary active-learning environment needed in apprenticeship training. The scope includes support for both Computer-Mediated and Blended Learning models.

The course will:

demonstrate in-depth use of the system:
- How to Mine Reports
- Assign Work
- Create an Active Learning Environment
cover applying concepts in reporting, presenting, and instructor resources designed to help the participant make the best use of the LMS for their instruction.
